 | Fresh Water Contamination Project reflects possible contamination of fresh water (drinking water) and waste disposal sites. The target site is central Ohio and shows disposal sites such as composting sites, solid waste facilities and superfund sites. The map also shows soil flow or how fast water moves through the soil. Five mile buffers were created at contamination sites and shows any water sources within the buffer. Risk levels were created based on water sources that fall within the buffer and the flow rate within the soil. Data Sources: Ohio EPA USDA ArcGIS Online |
