Assist staff removing invasive plant species such as honeysuckle and garlic mustard. A few different processes are used to remove these plants. One is to cut the plant close to ground and apply a herbicide to kill the root system. The other is to remove the complete plant which includes the root system.
Plant seedlings at existing or newly constructed wetlands. This involves learning various plant species and which ones live in the water, edge of water and on land next to wetland.
